So it has been four months since I've been on here, but I thought I would pick up with our exciting trip to Florida. :) Yes, our family of six plus Meemow Ruster traveled down to Siesta Key to be with Grandma and Grandpa Kamp and Ryan and Anna. Call me crazy?! What is crazy is that we were going to drive until three weeks before our trip when we bought plane tickets! The flight down was great and the flight home was even better. Piece of cake with three adults to four children! ;0)
In short summary, we had a wonderful time breaking away from the tan walls of our house to a nice town home in beautiful Siesta Key. Everyone remained on their schedules and all four kids were happy. Taylor LOVED playing in the sand and at the pool. The trio got to experience the beach and pool too. I'm not sure they were big fans of either at first, but I do know Lucas was throughly enjoying the sand on the last evening. We did accomplish one goal, which was taking everyone out for breakfast one morning. We may have been the first ones in the door, but we didn't have any breakdowns so it was a success. We also got to break away for a day with Taylor and took her to Walt Disney World with Aunt Anna and Uncle Ryan. Wow, that was an awesome experience! One Michael and I will never forget! The day trip was exhausting for all of us, but a great way to introduce Disney to an almost 3 year old. Thank you Nicole for the recommendation and thank you Grandma/Grandpa Kamp and Meemow for watching the trio so we could go.
The pictures uploaded in a completely random order and for time sake I'm going to roll with it...
Who doesn't love a ride on Daddy's shoulders??
L to R: Lucas (not too happy), Tay, Emi and Ethan
Love this face!
I could sit and talk to her for hours like this.
The 60 minute wait to see Rapunzel was totally worth seeing Taylor's reaction!
The last evening on the beach was a huge hit for Lucas.
Dinner time with the trio. Thank you ABC Baby Rental for making traveling with little ones so easy.
This is how we do it... I'm taking the picture and wearing Ethan.
This is the first night at the beach. The mind of a 2 1/2 year old is amazing to me. I wonder what she is really thinking???
Our family of 6 at the beach!
Meeting Mickey was absolutely priceless!
She loved Cinderella too!
Our view from our roof top. Not too shabby for lunch during nap time. :)
This is how we do it - TEAM KAMP!
Our first breakfast outing in Siesta Key.
Taylor and her grandmas walking to the beach for sunset the first night.
I'm going to leave it short and simple for now and yes, we are planning to return to SK next year in case that tells you anything. :) We are approaching the trio's first birthday and Taylor's 3rd so I'll be back in less that 4 months this time.
Take care and Happy Spring!
